About our 2025 Summer Programs!

About The Programs:

Studio on the Common is in it’s ninth year of offering summer programs for kids!

Throughout the summer we offer weekly classes in the Art Studio and Pottery Studio. Each day students will spend three hours creating unique art projects. In the Art Studio, the kids work in a variety of media and techniques such as; drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media and more! In the Pottery Studio it’s all clay, all the time with students gaining experience in wheel-throwing, trimming, glazing and even learn a bit about firing.

Students take a break from creating for a snack and play outside on Winchester’s very own Common. Our counselors lead students through games such as: Night at the Museum, freeze tag, jump rope competitions, and more! We have ample toys for students interested in free play such as chalk, balls, bubbles - everything a child could want! After snack and an activity break, students return to the classroom to create more projects before they get ready to go home for the day.
